Slime Care and Maintenance

Slime maintenance is pretty easy but the weather can get in the way. There are only a couple of things to know:

Sticky slime? (sometimes slimes melt in the heat)

--> Borax-Every order comes with borax. Mix the entire package of borax into one cup of warm water if the slime is sticky. Then, add little by little to your slime. Save the rest for later.

Stiff slime? (slimes can freeze in the cold)

Add one or more of the options below to your slime…

-->Lotion

-->Baby Oil

-->Hair Gel

-->Soap.

-->Warm Water (this may make your slime jiggly)

-->A stretchy slime base.

-->Stretchy Clay.

Note: If you add a product that is not clear to a clear slime, such as lotion, it will become foggy. If you don’t want that, add a different item like baby oil or hair gel.
